Efficient Insulation
Modern aluminium doors are made with thermal efficiency in mind, pushing for insulation against heat loss. The thermally-broken polyamide used in their creation has a thermal conductivity 160 times better than steel and is great for retaining, and even increasing, the internal temperature of any enclosed space, which adds to its utility.
Aluminium doors don’t rust, fade, or deteriorate, which means that they are not bound by re-varnishing or re-painting requirements, and can work extremely well in coastal environments. Maintaining them isn’t much of a chore either, as a routine wipe is all they need to retain that steel-like sheen.
